The Firm is proud to announce that Michelle C. Harrell has joined us in our litigation practice.  Ms. Harrell received her bachelor of science degree in accounting summa cum laude from the University of Detroit in 1990, and her juris doctorate cum laude from Wayne State University Law School in 1993.  While at Wayne State, Ms. Harrell participated in moot court competitions and received three American Jurisprudence awards.  Michelle is a barrister in the American Inns of Court, Oakland County Chapter, a mentor in the Oakland County Bar Association mentor program, and an Oakland County Circuit Court case evaluator (complex commercial neutral).  Ms. Harrell concentrates her practice in the areas of complex commercial, real estate and family law litigation.

On January 24, 2008, Ron A. Sollish was interviewed on Fox2 News. In light of the controversy surrounding the text messages allegedly exchanged between Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his Chief of Staff, Fox2 sought Ron’s insight on text messages and emails exchanged in the work place.

Stuart M. Bordman recently presented “Offering Franchises:  Complying with the Requirements of the Federal Trade Commission Rule on Franchising and the Michigan Franchise Investment Law.”  Stuart presented this seminar for the State Bar of Michigan’s Anti-Trust, Franchising and Trade Regulation Section.
